Post-Operative Care and Rehabilitation

Recovery needs and timelines vary after surgery. Care should follow the hospital discharge plan, including wound care, medicines, weight-bearing, mobility and follow-up appointments. Khunkha Nursing Home supports daily activities, safe mobility, nutrition and rehabilitation in line with the physician’s and physical therapist’s recommendations. We do not promise a specific recovery time or level of function.

Fever, breathing difficulty, increasing wound redness or bleeding, unusual worsening pain, new confusion, chest pain or other urgent symptoms require prompt contact with the treating team or emergency medical services.
